The National Center for Medical-Legal Partnership (NCMLP) hosted a virtual townhall event to discuss three significant Medicaid policy issues affecting disadvantaged communities served by safety-net health care, social services, and civil legal aid providers. Training is one way that medical-legal partnerships strengthen the skills and knowledge of both the health care and legal workforces to better meet the social needs of patients.
