By National Center for Medical Legal Partnership

NCMLP provided a training webinar to update the field on how health centers and MLP staff can continue to collaborate to better understand and address the evolving needs of patients experiencing Long-COVID. This webinar helped the health center and civil legal services staff to bridge the current research on Long-COVID to the clinical/legal interventions. Subject matter experts provided an overview of the evolving landscape of current laws and policies that aim to protect and support patients with Long-COVID.  This helped the audience to increase their understanding of best practices in MLP implementation, as well as screening and documenting social and legal needs.

Featured Panelists:

  • Katie Hathaway, NCMLP Consultant
  • Jasmine Harris, Professor of Law, University of Pennsylvania Law School
  • Andrew Yang, Attorney, Community Legal Services
