Article: Investing in legal prevention through MLP

This article reviews the available data on the types and scope of civil legal needs that low-income Americans experience, and the minimal resources currently available to address them. The authors also examine how the legal community currently conceptualizes prevention, and discuss how medical-legal partnerships can align priorities between health and legal organizations to help prevent legal problems and expand access to civil justice.
