Thursday, April 16, 2020

By The National Center for Medical-Legal Partnership

The COVID-19 pandemic has created an increased and urgent need for advance care planning. This town hall conversation, recorded on April 16, 2020, explored the legal, policy, operational, and capacity issues related to advance care planning. Presenters Sarah Hooper (Executive Director of the UCSF/UC Hastings Consortium of Law, Science & Health Policy) and Dr. Rebecca Sudore (Professor of Medicine at University of California, San Francisco) also shared tools that outpatient health care providers can use to guide conversations with patients.
