Seven of this year’s newly announced Equal Justice Works (EJW) Fellows will partner with health organizations on projects addressing a range of health-harming legal needs for Veterans, LGBTQ+ individuals, children, pregnant women, and immigrants. EJW is the largest provider of public interest law fellowships in the country, and over the past six years, more than 40 Fellows have started or expanded medical-legal partnerships, meaning that 1 in 10 medical-legal partnerships in the U.S. have been advanced by an EJW fellowship.
