Medical-Legal Partnership Office Hours are a regularly scheduled meeting that brings together a medical-legal partnership’s legal team and healthcare team, including healthcare champions and any potential referring front-line care staff. They are a space to conduct Curbside Consults, follow-up on outstanding referrals, follow-up on active cases, identify and address training needs, and review and update workflows. Office Hours are also a place where MLP site teams can share community resources and spark energy and engagement in policy change activities.
This job aid provides an overview of Office Hours activities and a sample agenda to guide MLP site teams as they set up these sessions. It was created as part of Kaiser Permanente’s Health, Housing, and Justice: Medical-Legal Partnership Initiative in partnership with the National Center for Medical-Legal Partnership and HealthBegins.
