As essential workers prior to and throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, agricultural workers have faced mounting challenges with access to resources required to address their unique health care needs. This webinar featured issue experts presenting best practices and strategies for employing the MLP model to serve agricultural worker communities. Bethany Hamilton, from the National Center for Medical-Legal Partnership, addressed topics like what MLPs are, the different forms they can take, and the multiple ways in which they can serve the target population. Aaron Voit, from California Rural Legal Assistance and Caroline Kennedy from Monterey County Health Department shared about the best practices they have employed to address agricultural workers’ health needs through MLPs, both before and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
