Killian McGovern (they/them) is the Center Associate of the National Center of Medical-Legal Partnership (NCMLP) and provides post-award project management and communication across project stakeholders.

Prior to joining NCMLP, Killian’s work spanned across the non-profit, clinical, and educational sectors. Most recently, they worked as a Rapid Resource Responder in the HIV Department of the Center on Halsted in Chicago. In this role, they provided health education and temporary case management to people living with HIV, those at a high risk of HIV, and the LGBTQ+ community. Additionally, Killian has worked within Chicago Public Schools, providing trauma-informed running and sports-based youth development and leadership programs to students. They also served as a part-time, volunteer Research Assistant at the University of Chicago Medical Center.

Currently, Killian is a part-time Master of Public Health Candidate at The George Washington University with a concentration in Health Policy. Previously, Killian received their Bachelor of Science in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience from Loyola University Chicago with a minor in bioethics.
