The Week in Health Law podcast: Interview on MLP with Elizabeth Tobin-Tyler

Wednesday, April 26, 2017

Elizabeth Tobin-Tyler discusses the role MLP can have as an upstream preventative approach to addressing legal problems, and the future of the movement in the uncertain political climate. She advocates for refocusing how we tackle health problems, and how doctors and lawyers can more effectively use their status to ask the right questions, and provide resources to low-income populations. She also talks about the advantages of training law and medical students side-by-side. Elizabeth Tobin-Tyler, JD, MA, is an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine from the Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University.
